Most tourists or people visiting Cape Town for the first time, love having Table Mountain as a backdrop, but there are also quite a few spots to visit for a more trendy city shoot or getting best of both worlds.

Signal Hill
A personal favourite - you have views of the iconic Lions Head and Table Mountain. You can even capture them both in one image. This is one of the locations where I've done most shoots.
You'll have a different vibe, depending on which time of the year you visit. In Spring you might even be surprised with lovely spring flowers blooming.
For this location I highly recommend leaving you heals at home, since we will be going onto a gravel hiking trail for a bit of height. From there you'll also enjoy the view of Camps Bay and the ocean.

Camps Bay Beach
Create moments to remember while watching the sun set over the ocean. At Camps Bay beach you have spectacular views of Lions Head and the Twelve Apostles which is beautifully lit by the sun in the afternoon. Camps Bay is one of the favourite suburbs in Cape Town with an awesome trendy beach vibe.
Although the beach can be busy, there are a lot of spots to visit with less people. The time around sunset is the best to visit for a perfect setting. Cape Town is known to be the windy city, but a sea breeze won't stop us from creating memories.

The Rock
The is a little secret location hidden in Cape Town. From here you'll have a beautiful view of Camps Bay. It is the ideal location for a private session or even a proposal.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Every season offers a different setting in the garden. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the greenery around you with your loved one or take a walk to the famous canopy walkway, known as the "Boomslang".
*Note, there is an entrance fee to the garden, but for safe parking, a safe shoot and a stunning environment, this is well worth it.

Bo-Kaap
One of the most photographed areas in Cape Town! Here you'll experience multi-coloured houses all around you against the backdrop of Table Mountain peeking through the city sky scrapers. This is a very unique setting between all the hustle & bustle of the city.
